Invest in Your Longterm Wardrobe This Eid!
For a lot of people, Eid is an occasion where they adorn themselves in items they hardly (or don’t) wear again. This Eid, why not think long-term and use your special ensemble as an excuse to invest in your every day wardrobe?
It’s for this reason that I can’t get enough of buying suits, whether it’s a matching set, or a blazer and paperbag slacks like I’m wearing here, there are endless opportunities and ways to wear these tailored separates for both work and play. Check out how I styled the set for Eid versus how I’d style it separately after Eid/Ramadan! All of these looks are available at Woolworths stores and online mostly in the Edition brand department.
THE EID LOOK:
For years now silk scarves tied in a simple style has been my thing for Eid, and this beauty did not disappoint! Coupled with this sparkly lurex tee, it was an easy way to add subtle detail to the simplicity of the set. Side note: can we have a moment of appreciation for these delicious ankle boots?
HOW TO STYLE THE BLAZER:
Give your look an instant update with this blazer! I love that it covers the butt too, making it modest-friendly. I paired it with a jumpsuit, but it could look equally chic with jeans and a tee. I love this ensemble for a day or night out with the girls.
HOW TO STYLE THE TROUSERS:
These trousers are as comfortable as they are classic, and can easily be worn to the office or a Sunday out with the family. I paired it with crisp, white sneakers, a snug knit and cute beret for an effortless, everyday pastel look.
