The 18th of October is a very special day in my calendar – not only because it’s my birthday, but it’s also my wedding anniversary with my amazing husband. So today I’m 27, and we are celebrating two years of marriage! It blows my mind how fast the time has gone. For those of you who have been following since before we got married, doesn’t it feel like our first anniversary trip to Thailand (read that post here) was just the other day?! And our wedding truly still feels so recent (read my wedding post here). I guess time really does fly when you’re having fun, and sharing my life with this man is exactly that, no matter what comes our way. I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world – not at all because our lives are perfect, but because we work so hard at being the best for each other. You would never believe some of the tough things we have been through together, but you would also never believe how amazing it has all been. So, happy anniversary to my love!
ABOUT OUR LOOKS:
To commemorate today, we teamed up with Refinery for a special edition anniversary outfit post! My guy can be pretty camera shy, but he warmed up eventually and we had loads of fun. We both loved that Refinery offered the wardrobe basics that we each love and tend to stock up on. For him, he always maintains that when a guy is in doubt with his style, an understated tee, well-fitted straight or skinny denims paired with fresh white sneakers is a fool-proof look, and also his signature style. For me, well you can already tell this outfit is typical of my style: a floaty top paired with grey skinny denims and a cute cover-up to hide the tush.
Lastly, we borrowed the amazing car I grew up in from my dad! He and my mom used to cruise around in this car when they were still dating. I love that it’s still in the family :)
