This is what happens when I’m wearing what may be my favourite outfit of all time and Lisa gets to test out her new camera! I wore this ensemble to the final night of MBFWCT, and Lisa and I were not about to shoot it in dingy lighting.We got up early to take these photos, I wore a bit less make-up than I did that night and forgot to wear my necklace, but you get the point!
And as the “big occasion”/fashion week tradition goes, I had to have something made by my mom. At the last minute, as usual, she made me this incredible cape, and considering the time constraint, my lack of time and inability to decide between dutchess satin, thai silk and even denim, I still can’t believe it’s literally identical to the image I had in mind!
My beautiful sequinned skirt is by local designer, Ilan. It was haunting me and stalking me online, until a few days before fashion week, I saw there was one more left in my size and basically decided it was my destiny.
