I was recently invited to Bounce in Johannesburg with the adidas Performance team for the launch of adidas Stella Sport, the new collaboration between Stella McCartney and adidas. We were all kitted out in the latest collection from head to toe and enjoyed a fun afternoon testing it out at this amazing trampoline park! As someone who tries to stay active with a couple of workouts a week, I’ve become extremely fussy about the clothing I train in, particularly sports bras, trainers, and tights (tops, not so much). I sadly have bunions (I was strangely born with them, and it was then aggravated by being a gymnast for about 7 years), so my feet are super sensitive to everything. I can also be quite the sweaty betty, so if I’m not wearing leggings with sweat-wicking fabric, then the workout is basically not happening! That being said, as expected, the Stella range upheld and in some areas improved adidas Performance’s usual active wear technology.
The collab is super cute, and is a crazy burst of colour, adding a bold touch to your workout and making it perfect for the fashion girl who loves to get her training on. A lot of items in the range can be incorporated in your daywear too and could easily be a part of adidas Originals lifestyle wear. I have my eye on a colour-splashed crop hoodie, among other cool tops, while the tights I’m rocking in these pictures are my favourite from the collection. The sports bra I’m wearing (not pictured here), gave me the most amazing support and made me wish I was one of those I-only-train-in-my-sports-bras kind of gals, because the design and colour combo is adorable!
More pictures from the event will be coming soon.
