Flower crown from Chatuchak Market in Bangkok, dress from Zara in Kuala Lumpur, vintage leather jacket, Isabel Marant sneakers, Zara bag, Prada Baroque sunnies from Sunglass Hut.
Taken two weeks ago in Shibuya, Tokyo, I knew I was missing cherry blossom season so I decided to BE my own cherry blossom tree instead by wearing a flower crown. I got this dress from Zara over a year ago and it was my first time wearing it. I think everyone jumped onto the “mullet” dress/skirt trend that it maybe overwhelmed me a little so I didn’t want to wear it. On this day it made sense though now that the “hype” has died down a bit!
I know I’ve been pretty quiet here and didn’t say much in my last post. But it’s about a month and a half till I’m back in Cape Town for good and leave the flying life behind. That being said I pretty much use “YOLO” to justify my fast-depleting bank account and my nearly-full passport. Just got back from a week in New York and Athens (a Parthenon pilgrimage was always on my bucket list) with my lovely Leonor, so I still have quite a few things lined up for the blog, it’s finding the time to do it all that’s the problem, while still being able to do mortal things like eat, sleep and have time for loved ones.
That being said, you would never believe the mission it was for me to do these Tokyo posts. It took me three hours to get to Harajuku/Shibuya and three hours to get back, and I solely made this trip for the sake of blog content.
Fashion Breed blog/readers, this is by far my longest and most committed relationship to date!
