Days In Denim

My recent travels have influenced my style, and I love venturing away from my sometimes boy-ish ways with chic, European-inspired elegance. That being said, I finally got my hands on a pair of white skinny jeans!

After always admiring them but initially feeling that they weren’t very me (mostly because I’m super clumsy so I felt I would dirty them in five seconds), after teaming up with River Island on this post, I couldn’t resist this pair from their Canal Walk store, because I love how they can give a casual look a sophisticated touch. I also love how they  gave me that extra bit of poise without compromising on comfort; their stretch denim is the kind you can comfortably prance around or even nap in! It was hard to decide between this pair and the white flared jeans, but I found the skinnies more flattering and versatile.

I teamed it with this longline blazer, soft knit tee and Panama hat, also from River Island, set against the backdrop of a building that reminds me of European architecture. My perfect day would be effortlessly rocking this look on the streets of Paris or Rome; the travel bug has bitten hard and won’t go away, can you tell?!
