Last weeek I was invited by Design For Style (DFS) to attend their premier show for the third season. The show was held at Misael’s Gallery (103 Bree Street, Cape Town) on 14 October 2010. The night marked the start of DFS welcoming CSquared and Smirnoff Black as their sponsors.
The DFS platform was founded to showcase emerging designers from different backgrounds with a vision to break into the fashion industry. The DFS monthly fashion shows are professionally produced, marketed, co-ordinated and produced with minimal effort and is the result of the DFS team’s passionate and innovative efforts. On this particular night, three ranges were showcased by Seventies 80’s, Margot Molyneux and Jesse McKay.
