Last weekend Mom and I accompanied Dad and Malick on their bro-mantic trip to George to see the annual Classic Car show. In an around George we stopped at the infamous little towns of Sedgefield, Knysna and Mossel Bay, enjoying way too much to eat, many a market, beach and Magnum Biscotti.
What was most memorable for me was the drive into Knysna, that place is all kinds of beautiful! We used to go every year as children but I haven’t been on the Garden Route since I was seventeen, so it felt a bit like I was seeing it for the first time. Also I totally remember the Waterfront being so much bigger too? The lush greenery reminds me so much of Mahe Island in Seychelles, it’s ridiculous that I never realised we have something so equally beautiful in our country.
I really can’t wait to return!
