Leilah and Zulfiq’s Wedding

My friends Leilah and Zulfiq recently tied the knot and I was invited to celebrate their marriage in a beautiful and intimate setting at Suikerbossie restaurant. I know Leilah for years, prior to her embracing Islam when her name was still Burnice. She made the most beautiful, petite little bride alongside her dashing groom. I really loved the quirky touches they added to their attire, particularly their shoes!

I took my cousin/sister, Nabilah, with me as my plus one, because we always have the best time together, and also her niece, Nuha, was the little flower girl. In true Harron style little Nuha handled her job like a pro alongside her bestie sidekick, the equally adorable bowtie-clad, Jaan.

I wore a sheer black pleat dress by Oaktree at Stuttafords, topped with an amazing beaded cape from Primark and Aldo platforms. It was really fun dressing up, and wearing a corset underneath gave me a little bit more savoir-faire.

All my love and best wishes to the happy couple, it was an absolute honour and pleasure to be a part of your special day!
