Light

I wore this outfit this past Saturday when I went for lunch with my friend, Sam. Lisa and I had been shooting another model portfolio that morning, and believe it or not, my hair started out dead straight that day. We then got caught in Sea Point mist, followed by rain and then a whole lot of wind, which made me so very thankful to have found my trusty H&M hat in my car!

I felt for a simple and understated look that day, and went for my favourite skinny jeans and boyfriend shirt. I’m also so thankful for warmer days because I got to wear these Forever 21 heels that I simply adore! Also, how cute is this lemon-coloured purse? It was a gift Dune London had sent to a few bloggers, and they kindly engraved our initials on the clasp which was the sweetest personal touch. Let’s hope we don’t all wear it to the same events at the same time, although I wouldn’t be surprised, the size and finish of it is so fun and summery.

Otherwise, I’m still feeling a bit ill and sad it’s ruined my workout schedule that I’ve been enjoying so much! I’m super happy that it’s paying off though, I can tell by my face in the picture above, I know I’m doing well when my cheeks stay the same size when I smile :)
