My Current Beauty Favourites from Dior

Hello darlings! So it’s been a while since I did a photographic beauty post, and recently these beauties from Dior have kind of changed my life, so I felt it was the perfect time to share my favourites. So while I am often sent product from the Dior beauty team, please note this is not a sponsored post and all opinions are my own. Before I started receiving product from them, I had only ever used and loved their nail varnish (#999 may easily be my favourite red nail polish of all time). However, after being exposed to the brand for a few months now and getting to know some of its products (quite a few more than what I’ve posted here),  I decided to share these four that I’ve incorporated into my routine basically every single day, and why I love them. 

 DIORSNOW BLOOM PERFECT BRIGHTENING PERFECT SKIN CORRECTOR SPF35

At first I had no idea how to use this or what exactly it was, but through its claims and my personal experience, I came to a conclusion. This formula gives your skin a slightly rosy glow, protects with its SPF35 and does mild colour correction. The formula’s texture itself is does not feel like a moisturiser, it is a lot more like some primers; a mildly textured lotion, and it evens out the skin’s texture, while also acting as a great illuminating primer for use before foundation.

HYDRA LIFE JELLY SLEEPING MASK

So before I discuss the results, when they call this product a “mask” it’s not a traditional face mask that you later peel or wash off. It is essentially a cool, gel formula that acts as a night cream. This is by far one of the best, if not the best night cream I have ever used! I tend to have combination skin, but this product absorbs so well into my skin, leaving my complexion feeling hydrated and refreshed, while oil balance becomes completely evened out. Often other products create such balance in the first week of me using it, then throws the oil balance out completely, sometimes even making it worse at a later stage. My skin even feels hydrated when I wake up the next day. This little blue, frosted tub is definitely my face’s bestie right now!

ONE ESSENTIAL MIST LOTION DETOXIFYING MIST PURITY BOOSTER 

This one is fairly new in my routine, but oh so welcome! I’ll admit, smarty pants over here first thought it was a lotion spray for her body (which was a pretty nice experience too just by the way, but required generous amounts). Anyway, this hydrating mist is a spray lotion with hybrid functions that cleanses and detoxifies the skin with one spritz to your face. It also tones and restores the balance of the skin’s acidity levels, while “red hibiscus promotes further release of toxins in the deeper layers of the skin”. My personal experience with this product is that it is wonderfully hydrating and refreshing. I love that it doesn’t need to be rubbed into the skin, while the scent is just so luxurious. Its after-effects make you feel like you’ve had a quick facial, without too much glow.

LA COLLE NOIRE EU DE PARFUM

For so many reasons, this perfume is by far one of my favourites, even though I’ve only had it for about a month now. Where do I even begin?! The smell is sweet, spicy, and musky, while its potency is very intense and reminds me of the rich oil fragrances famously worn by Arab men and women. It’s top note is rose de mai absolute, middle note is sandalwood and base note is white musk. Suitable for day and night, all you need is a single spritz and you’re good to go. Did I mention that the bottle is absolutely massive?! At a whopping 450ml, I’m pretty much set for life!
