Paris went by in a fun, way-too-fast blur. There was so much to see and do, we felt like we did a lot and we felt like we did nothing at the same time. Initially the fomo for the things I didn’t get to see/do annoyed me, but I figured you know what? It’s fine. Paris is mostly known for its history so I’m pretty sure everything will still be here if/when I return, even if that’s in another 30 years time only!
Otherwise it was amazing traveling with Malick again. We make the best team on these missions and always keen for the exact same things which makes things a lot easier. We enjoyed the same things and complained about the same things. For the most part, we complained about all the other tourists, even though we were tourists ourselves, as one does :) I really wouldn’t recommend Paris in August for that particular reason. We didn’t know it was vacation time for the French too which made things even crazier! However, we had the best time, even if it sounds like I’m complaining, we made amazing memories and I wish we had another three days there at the very least.
