Yay, it’s Friday! Many of you will have celebrated Eid yesterday, and I truly wish it was a spectacular one spent with loved ones. Lisa and I shot this look a while ago, as I planned to wear this for Eid. Most people, especially when they’re younger, go all out, get new clothing and dress to the nines. I haven’t bought new Eid clothing, or just clothing in general (believe it or not), in ages, I believe I have a solid wardrobe with great pieces now, enough to keep me going for a while. And still I give so much of it away while still feeling that I’m being excessive!
Anyway, yesterday was so sunny and beautiful that suddenly this whole look felt gloomy even though I liked it, so I’m posting it anyway. Besides, it’s Jumuah today (the holiest day of the week for Muslims, with a special Friday prayer), so it totally fits! I’ll share what I actually wore sometime soon enough.
