A very casual work outfit snapped by my lovely Lisa last week, wearing a few of my favourite things like this  leather clutch from the beautiful folks at Research Unit  – it is all kinds of wonderful. Many of you will know that I’m a complete and utter genuine leather snob and it takes a lot for me to be 1. impressed and 2. wear faux/PU leather 3. like the leather even if it is real. This incredibly well-crafted bag is made of a thick, durable leather can be worn as both a clutch and a sling, and its simple design makes it as beautiful as it is versatile. The unique wooden clasp is my be all and end all. Their beautiful branding, packaging and quality is truly exceptional and I’m all for supporting local!

Furthermore, one of the things I’m really enjoying about a wear-whatever-you-want office environment is actually being able to wear the things I never always had the chance to. Especially my heels. I luckily get to work in a small studio with a team of about only ten people, and I park right at the front door without a pavement gradient in sight. There are days where I’m in my highest heels and days where our vehement summer and increased workload beckons for bare feet.

I deprived myself of sleep a lot this week. Catching up on all the fashion week shows, maintaining consistency on the blog, birthdays, loved ones in need, workouts and starting work at 7am – it doesn’t always allow the prettiest of faces. Feeling my most fragile self I was all top-knot buns, kicks and red lips these past few days. Looking at these pictures, such a wonderful hair day feels like a past life.

Finally Friday, I’m so excited to use my brain as little as possible, get lots of rest, eat great food, and be shamelessly needy. How about you?

xx
