Lisa was feeling a little lavish recently and decided to get herself a new camera lens, and of course we had to test it out. I loved the effect!
I also really love this look and it was pretty pleasant the way it all came together. You may remember a few years ago, my outfits were a bit more revealing, but since getting engaged, married and just a bit older, covering my body more than I used to has become a chosen part of my maturing process as a young Muslim woman. That being said, it was great to find a new way to wear my little leatherette skirt and skin tight leatherette leggings (unless I’m working out, I pretty much never wear leggings without at least covering my butt too).
You may also remember that up until 2011, I used to sell vintage clothing. This beautiful cross-over blouse was given to me by my aunt to sell, but I couldn’t resist keeping it for myself. It’s just so chic and the fabric is out of this world! It is also almost identical to one of the styles in the H&M Balmain collection too.
Otherwise, I have to rush to get done now! Mondays are beauty editor days at afashionfriend.co.za, where I’ll work there for most of the day on my articles for the week ahead, on both their site and my own.
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!
