It’s been a while since I’ve shared an editorial, because it’s been a while since I found one that I loved. I’m at a stage in my life where I’m trying to dress more modestly, but at times I struggle to find the balance between modesty and looking too mature for my age. Well-structured, oversized coats teamed with statement kicks seems to remedy that dilemma in the best way I have seen thus far. And although we’re headed into Summer, this spread tugs a bit at my nostalgic heartstrings as I miss winter fashion and New York.
I’ve been wearing my mom’s oversized coats and fifties flared skirts for years and I’m a bit sad to see both being given up to the trend monsters! But both silhouettes are so magical, I guess it was inevitable, right?
