On this day in Stockholm, it was the first time I wore these Zara “pajama” shorts out, and I know if Leonor was nearby she would have never let me out of the house like that (but mind you, she has some Zara trousers that look like pyjamas too, and she has them in more than one colour).
I had to ask numerous strangers to take my picture, and so many of them failed in an epic way. Decided to ask a grandma passing by to test the theory of whether or not older people are worse with technology; she was the one who produced the final money-shot.
In other news, Ramedaan begins tomorrow. I’m quite excited to knuckle down, practice donning my hijab again and contemplate life more than usual. To all of my Muslim readers celebrating, I wish you Ramedaan Kareem, may your month be filled with light, may your prayers be answered and may we all emerge as better individuals at the end Insha-Allah.
