Winter in Cape Town is shamelessly in full swing, and it’s a cold that feels harder than ever to seek refuge from. For all of us, our fingers freeze and the chill pierces through every layer that attempts – in vain – to aid our warmth. And even with snow-capped mountain reports and faux fur now being a completely acceptable trend in Cape Town, we still showcase our denial of the weather via our lack of efficient heating systems, and those who will wear their kort rokkies or a simple tee regardless.
Merely an observation, and that’s my random little ramble for today, you know, to get me back into the swing of things over here. I’m feeling a little flu-ish (by now you guys probably noticed my putrid immune system), so I’m going to take a shower and get into bed. What are your ultimate flu-busters?
