After what felt like the longest winter, Spring is finally here, and with her she calls for a wardrobe change to match the warmer weather. On that note, I’ve partnered with Spitz shoes once again to share three sandal styles that I’m excited to be living in this Spring/Summer!
Gladiator sandals have remained a wardrobe staple through the years but their comeback for SS18 has been fiercer than ever! Kurt Geiger at Spitz brought out an extensive range of embellished leather pairs in different designs, and I opted for this black studded pair for versatility, and because it matches the bag I wear almost daily. I loved how this look came together as a perfect marriage between bohemian and nautical trends. I can definitely see myself rocking these with my favourite dresses this summer too!
Block slip-on mules have been returning season after season because they’re the perfect mash-up of comfort and style. Block heels, in general, are an old lazy girl style hack for when you don’t feel like higher/more slender heels, and I honestly think they keep coming back because we’re the ones who can’t get enough of them! I’ve been buying everything in yellow for a while now, and though this pair comes in burgundy too, I couldn’t resist them in my new favourite shade. I paired it with this D&G inspired caftan, but will definitely be rocking it with everything from culottes to jeans and dresses. I’m pretty sure they’re going to be my go-to heels for when I’m running around between meetings.
If you’ve been following my style for a long time you know I love a pair of espadrilles, and try to get a new pair every year for spring/summer. I’m super happy with the addition of this Kurt Geiger pair for its unbeatable comfort more than anything, and of course, I love the super cute shade of pink. I’m very happy these come with reinforced backed uppers, so they won’t stretch out when you wear them (a very common issue with leather and canvas shoes). I can’t wait to wear these with light blue denims and pretty blouses this season.
Which of these three pairs was your favourite? How would you wear it?
