Morning guys! Can we take a quick moment for Lisa’s booming photography? It’s been a year and a half of working together and I couldn’t be more proud! We’ve both grown so much together since our first post (see it here). We were both awkward and nervous on that first day, and she has since become one of my closest friends and basically my diary. She literally reminds me when I have events and deadlines and is the most organised person ever. Claps for Lisa! I managed to get a sneak peak of her new site and it’s super cute, I can’t wait to share it with you guys. In the meantime you can book her for your blog posts, events, family shoots etc by emailing lisagabrielphotography@gmail.com.
In sadder news, I had lined up a few posts, but our very pathetic landline service provider, Telkom, politely killed my landline on Friday for no reason, taking our wifi down with it. Sorry if I spammed you guys on Twitter with my complaints, but honestly nothing infuriates me more than something being unfair, or people being incompetent when you’re paying them to provide a service. In this case, it’s both. Their finance team needs to push more budget into employing people, and less into marketing and sponsoring Idols! They did the same thing to my mom, and she’s been waiting over three weeks for it to be fixed. So who knows when I’ll be back up and running? I won’t get excited and make promises, but I will try my best.
As for this look, the sun was shining and it made me excited for Spring! And with spring comes the overkill of me in this Primark longline blazer, ha! I lived in it last spring/summer and I’m pretty sure the upcoming season will be no different. I paired it with a crisp, white Polo shirt for that spring-fresh feel, and my Old Khaki denim skirt which is one of the best things I’ve bought this year (so versatile). Not sure if I’m feeling these River Island boots with this outfit though? It made sense in my head and looked cool in the mirror but now I think the proportions look a little aggressive overall. Maybe a pair of cool kicks or slimmer heels would have been better! What do you guys think? Which shoes would you have teamed it with? Tweet me @SAFashionBreed.
xx
