I find that whenever artists say they’re going to “retire” they never really do, because it wasn’t “work” in the first place. Such is the case for Valentino. There are few things as wonderful as a powerful collaboration. Initially I’d found some behind-the-scenes images of the Master at work, creating 25 pieces for the New York City Ballet, but this clip is so much better.
