White Noise

I have been itching to wear something all-white for a while! Sunglass Hut’s Come & Play party held in a super warm Johannesburg recently was the perfect opportunity, and I pestered my mom about two days before leaving to make me this dress.

We made it with bull denim, and I donned quirky accessories because I was so afraid of looking like I was going to church. I ended up looking more like rebellious Malibu Barbie, but I was into it!

The event itself was amazing and TGETHER was four of the twenty of those invited to have pre-drinks with the guest of honour, Georgia May Jagger, followed by jamming to an unforgettable performance by Mafikizolo afterward at the main party. Two entities of which I am a shameless fan – I was in my element.  We had the most amazing time at what was undoubtedly the party of the year, and I wouldn’t have wanted to share the fun with anyone else. Thank you Sunglass Hut for being the best host, and thank you to my girls (yes, Trevor and Inge, that includes you) for the most amazing time!
