You’d think llama-print would be tacky… but no.

Yoko/Lennon sunglasses (from Pedro’s stall at the Labia’s YMEWK market), thrifted caftan, wedge heels by Prato.

These pictures were taken on Thursday evening, when boyfriend and I decided to leave Thrift and Tripp (his  new business venture) behind and have date night. We went to Royale Eatery on Long, and I tried the Tandooka chicken burger for the first time. With cheese = amazeballs.

The day before that I went sourcing for Thrift and got this caftan. I love that it’s covered in llamas, it’s so frikkin random but it works without being kitsch, which is awesome. I’m learning to be less of a spazz in front of the camera as you can see, and I’m learning how to use photoshop which helps in the event that I slip into old habits of awkwardness. The second photo above I did for my Lookbook page. Click here to hype it.

Furthermore, this past Saturday, Gab and I took Thrift to its very first market, which we are proud to say was quite the success, so thank you to all who came:) Post sunshine and sales we treated ourselves to some well-deserved sushi with Aisha B from Baked.
I spent the next night with Aish at the Red Bull sunset surf competition too, and the reason why it’s relevant to my fashion blog is because we unintentionally dressed pretty much exactly the same – white tees, brown leather jackets and blue skinny jeans. ie: Mini Me and Doctor Evil #slapmyhead!

I have some more exciting news and activities coming soon, but I have to wait it out a weeee bit longer before I can share it with you all :(
For now, be safe this weekend, us Cape Townians can look forward to some amazing weather – oh yes!

xx
