#BuildYourBlogJHB

DSK20151114-20

This past weekend I made my way to Johannesburg to host my second blog workshop, this time in collaboration with Old Khaki. I’d received so many requests for this workshop following the success of my first one that took place in Cape Town back in February. However, I kept stalling it as I had no idea how to begin planning an event that would take place in a different city.

Then, back in July after working closely with Old Khaki on other projects, I was contacted by two of my previous workshop attendees, who work for the brand and proposed we take the workshop on the road together and head to JHB. The demand for the workshop was high, they’re a brand I LOVE working with and above all, I had learnt so much more about the industry since my last workshop in Feb (the fashion blogging industry has boomed immensely since then) and I was buzzing to share it all.

I can’t take credit for the goodie bags, or the awesome venue or delicious tapas and catering (which included DIY s’mores with everyone roasting their own marshmallows on the table). A huge thank you goes to the Old Khaki team for being so organised and awesome with pretty much everything. And of course, thank you to the incredible girls who attended, you guys were awesome and inspiring in every way <3

xx
