Happy Thursday my loves! How has another week come and gone so quickly again? Today I’m (mostly) dressed by a fairly new local brand, Street Lines Apparel. Founded by Nuraan Samsodien, she’s actually the big sister of an old friend of mine, and for as long as I can remember, she’s had killer style. That, coupled with a background in corporate retail and a mom who works as a seamstress, it really didn’t surprise me when she started her own label that has grown a to become a firm favourite among local ladies. You can follow them on Instagram HERE where you will find the details on how to shop the collection. They’re also having a 25% sale on selected items now, SCORE!
ABOUT THIS LOOK:
By now, most of you know I can be girly or a tomboy, and in this case I decided to be both. The track top and trousers are both from Street Lines. The track top is available as a suit and comes with matching bottoms, while these high waist trousers are actually straight legs but I did a tapered turn-up at the bottom to show off my new Kurt Geiger heels. These booties are literally my favourite shoes right now; I’ve been wanting peep-toe ankle boots, Peter Pan front-slit boots and lace-up heels for a while now, and these babies tick all of those boxes! And obviously the leather is amazing. They’re available at Spitz now as part of their winter collection, so you better hurry if you still want a pair.
In other news:
My Youtube video with my husband most likely goes live tomorrow! I’m almost done editing it, so give or take 7 hours of uploading time (Lord help South Africa), you should be making fun of us this time tomorrow. Side note: don’t you think he did pretty good with these photographs? He keeps surprising me.
Hope you’re all having a smashing week so far!
xx
