Now that we’re nicely settled into Spring, the warmer weather calls for a change of wardrobe and our footwear is no exception. I’ve partnered with Spitz once again to share three more sandal styles you need this season to complete your perfect summer shoe collection.
LOOK 1: The Flatform Sandal
In the most recent Spring/Summer runway collections, flatforms came through as a dominant trend; the bolder, the better! This pair of mine from Carvela Weekend has a luxe-foam sole, leaving them ultra-lightweight and comfortable.
HOW DO I WEAR IT?
This is the kind of shoe you want to show off, so team it with anything cropped, be it a dress, culottes or ankle-grazing denim.

LOOK 2: The Luxe Leather Slide in Brown
In the last post I did with Spitz, I made mention of the luxe leather slide being the effortless it-girl shoe for Spring/Summer. So on that note, this time I’m including it again in brown because it’s a style you would wear regularly and on the go, so you’ll need more than one, and it may as well be in different colours with a slightly different cut! Personally, these days I’m always alternating between this brown Carvela pair and my black criss-cross Kurt Geiger pair.
HOW DO I WEAR IT?
These look great with casual slacks, denims and dresses and I’ve even seen some of my favourite international celebs wearing it with a formal suits + plain white tee combo.

Look 3: The Perfect Block Heel
Low block heels have made their return for another season, and this Carvela pair gets an additional trendy update, with its slingback strap and high-cut front. The high-cut front is a key silhouette for the season ahead, going against the grain of the “toe cleavage” so many shoe-lovers swear by. It’s a look we’ve mostly seen on point-nose shoes so this peep-toe design changes things up perfectly.
HOW DO I WEAR IT?
Team your block heels with something above the ankle and if all else fails, turn up your denims the same way I did here:
