This past weekend, one of my dearest girlfriends, Samiyah, married her beau in what could only be described as a fairytale day. This was my look for her wedding, and yes, I wore the top half of the dress I got married in myself! (see my first of two wedding looks here).
The theme was “A Touch Of Sparkle”, which really, formed the foundation of my friendship with Sam. She was the kindest person ever when I was the nervous new girl at my last job, and on our first lunch date, she told me in a very serious tone how important leather boots are and that “sequins are the future”. I burst out laughing and she thought I was judging her, but really, I was laughing because I knew in that moment I had made an amazing friend. Ever since, she has supported me through every tiny thing and never falling short at sharing her pride. So imagine my excitement and pride seeing her wed the love of her life on Saturday! It was really so special, she has the best heart and deserves the world!
Anyway. I need to rest today, between answering emails that is! I’ve had too many nights this past week where I only sleep for four hours or so, and I can feel my body giving in! Hope you all have a fabulous day ahead my loves.
