Happy Thursday, babes! How’s everyone’s week going? The mood of today’s outfit totally reflects my vibe and “feels” this week. Leonor arrived on Friday, and we had the most fun over the four-day long weekend. It was like the summer break I feel I never had. At the end of last year, between family events, non-Cape Townians killing and overfilling all the good spots, as well as house-sitting for a week, I didn’t get that year-end rejuvenation that’s just so necessary. So from our ocean-front Hermanus getaway to waterfall hikes, the most perfect day at Kraalbaai and a morning at a hotel pool, I really feel like a new person. I’ve vlogged most of it so after fashion week and the charity sale has wrapped this Saturday, I’ll get to work on the editing so you can follow me around! Anyway, since the sale is only two days away I’ve got to get back to working on the last minute admin. Tomorrow night I’ll be at fashion week and a launch so there will be no other time to wrap things up. I’m excited for my outfit, mostly because I’ll be wearing RED!
ABOUT THIS OUTFIT:
An easy, trendy take on the classics, I really loved this outfit. Cropped denims with fringed edges are the latest craze, and so are romantic frilly/puffy blouses. This shirt belonged to my mom and was made by her almost ten years ago. She found it recently and then made it smaller for me – score! I’m also thinking of getting more cheapie flared denims and fringing them out because I’m significantly obsessed with this denim trend. Yay or nay?
